Through Studio Samuel's microlending program, 201 caregivers have either launched or expanded their business. It's a strong community of women lifting each other, as one repays her loan the next receives her loan.

Studio Samuel's Micro-Lending Program

  • Applicants attend a financial literacy training course led by a licensed accountant
  • Business plans are submitted, including their repayment plan
  • Caregivers meet regularly with our small business team
  • Upon loan repayment, a waiting applicant receives her loan

Child labor is one reason girls are denied an education.

When caregivers can't provide basic needs,
their girls are needed to work during school hours.

Studio Samuel students are able to prioritize and focus on their education
when their caregiver has access to an income generating business.
