In 2015, Studio Samuel opened its doors in Addis Ababa with one mission:
To prioritize education for adolescent girls who are vulnerable to trafficking, forced early marriage, child labor, and gender-based violence.
Today, we celebrate 10 years of walking alongside girls as they break their cycles of poverty through education, life skills, and job training. Our “Teach a Woman to Fish” model creates empowerment, not dependency, with community and girl-led solutions.

A war refugee who escaped conflict, missing two years of school, enrolled at Studio Samuel and dove straight into our library and tutoring program.
When only 3% of students nationwide passed Ethiopia’s national exam, Hasat scored an astounding 83.2%.
