She stays in school when someone chooses to stand with her—consistently, month after month.

In communities where poverty and gender barriers put girls at risk of leaving school early, education is more than opportunity—it is protection. At Studio Samuel Girls Academy, we work alongside girls ages 12–18 who are determined to continue their education, but face daily pressures pulling them out—early marriage, economic hardship, and limited access to basic resources. What changes everything is not a one-time moment of support, but something far more powerful: consistency.

At 18, everything becomes real. Decisions carry weight, responsibilities increase, and the path ahead begins to take shape. For a girl born into poverty, that moment can come with limited choices and heightened risk. But when she has had consistent access to education, her path looks different. She is prepared, supported, and able to move forward with confidence. An $18 monthly commitment reflects that moment—helping ensure she reaches it with options, not obstacles.

When you invest in a girl’s education, you are not funding a single moment—you are strengthening a pathway. A pathway where she remains safely enrolled in school, gains the confidence to make decisions about her future, and builds practical, income-generating skills that allow her to move forward with independence. Through our Training for Tomorrow program, girls receive academic support, life skills training, and targeted barrier reduction, ensuring they can stay focused on what matters most: learning. In our Sewing Lab, students create reusable menstrual kits—addressing one of the leading causes of absenteeism and helping remove a critical barrier to attendance.

In the Sewing Lab, as one student was working on a menstrual kit pattern she said, “This will help another girl stay in school like me.” In that moment, she was not just receiving support—she was extending it.

Behind this work is a community of individuals who have chosen to show up differently. We invite you to join us and ensure a girl has what she needs to stay in school—month after month.

This kind of consistency allows us to do what matters most. It allows us to plan for a full year of support for every girl in our program, to respond quickly when barriers arise, and to build lasting trust with families and communities. It turns education into something reliable—something a girl can count on—and that is what transforms it into protection.

Because of this collective commitment, more than 90% of girls in our program remain enrolled in school, 90–98% advance to the next grade level, and 96% are the first in their families prepared for higher education. And the impact does not stop there. Each girl carries what she gains into her school, her family, and her community—extending that protection to others.

If you’ve found your way here, you are already part of her story. Take the next step and stand with her—helping ensure that education remains not just an opportunity, but a constant, and a form of protection she can rely on.
